Gradients for Rect/Circle/Polygon objects

In development.
It would be nice to have the option to apply a gradient effect to any object from the color-picker UI? Have the option to choose a Start Color and End Color with color picker attached to each option. Especially the Rectangle, Circle, Polygon drawing tools.
